Return and Refund Policy

We are committed to the quality of our artisanal preserves and your satisfaction. Due to the perishable nature of our food products, our return policy is structured to ensure food safety and product integrity.

 

1. General Return Policy (Non-Perishable Items)

 

We do not accept returns or exchanges on any food items, including our jars of jam, once they have been shipped, unless the item is damaged or defective upon arrival (see Section 2).

  • Exceptions: Returns may be accepted for non-perishable merchandise (e.g., branded apparel, accessories, gift boxes without jam) within 30 days of the purchase date, provided the item is unused, in its original packaging, and in the same condition that you received it.

  • Refunds (if applicable): Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within a certain number of days.

 

2. Damaged or Defective Products (Jams)

 

We take great care in packaging our jars, but occasionally, damage occurs during shipping. If your Pecsplender jam arrives damaged (e.g., broken jar, compromised seal, or incorrect product), we will gladly replace the item or issue a full refund.

  • Reporting Damage: You must notify us within 7 days of receiving your order.

  • Required Documentation: To process a refund or replacement, you must provide photographic evidence of the damage. Please include:

    • A photo of the damaged product.

    • A photo of the shipping box (showing any external damage).

    • A photo of the shipping label.

  • Procedure: Please email the required documentation to support@pecsplender.com with the subject line "Damaged Order - Your Order Number". We will review the claim and process a replacement or refund within 3-5 business days. Do not return the damaged item to us.

 

3. Incorrect Shipping Address

Pecsplender is not responsible for orders shipped to an incorrect address provided by the customer.

  • Customer Responsibility: Please double-check your shipping address before submitting your order.

  • Re-Shipping: If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect address, the customer will be responsible for the full cost of re-shipping the order.

 

4. Order Cancellation

If you need to cancel an order, please contact us immediately at support@pecsplender.com.

  • Cancellation Window: We can only guarantee cancellation if the request is received within 2 hours of the order being placed, as we strive to process and ship orders quickly. Once an order has been processed for shipping, it cannot be canceled.
